I am someone who's creative and driven with a keen eye for detail and design. Whether it’s freezing a lacrosse player mid-shot or capturing the intensity of a game, I’m always seeking that perfect shot.

I'm graduating with a B.A. in journalism and a studio art minor from Washington and Lee University. My skills and interests are primarily specialized in sports photography and media. Over the past couple years, I have primarily been working for the Virginia Military Institute's lacrosse team as a volunteer creative director. My goal was to turn a lackluster social media into something that engaged more recruits and larger lacrosse media outlets - which I have successfully accomplished. While I have 10 years of photography under my belt, I've more recently been developing my videography and graphic design skills. I'm eager to gain mentorship and feedback to continue to grow in these areas.

As a young mixed-race woman in the sports industry, I’m part of a movement to break barriers. I embrace the challenge, knowing that representation matters. I have a deep connection and passion for sports, having been a lacrosse student-athlete and fan of a large variety nearly my whole life, especially professional football. Quite frankly, I did not know lacrosse was a sport until middle school but have been throwing a football and watching NFL games since I can remember. Though I never achieved my childhood goal to be a female quarterback, I've found my role as a quarterback through my position as a lacrosse goalkeeper and being someone people can rely on and seek out as a leader. I aspire to hone my passions toward a career in sports entertainment and media. I envision myself in the press box, reporting live from the sidelines, or crafting captivating narratives that bring fans closer to their favorite athletes.
